Research topic: Molecular interactions in membranes, with particular attention to lipids and detergents.

Prof. Esther Rodríguez Villegas at Imperial College London, UK.

Research topic: Engineering techniques focused on life-science applications such as creating innovative wearable medical technologies to improve management and diagnosis of chronic diseases or neural interfaces to facilitate brain research whilst improving animals’ welfare.

Prof. Susana Martínez Conde at State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, USA. Director of the Laboratory of Integrative Neuroscience and Scholar at the Empire Innovator Program.

Research topic: Techniques such as fMRI, electrophysiological recordings from single neurons, or computational models of visual function that can be used to understand the neural bases of our visual experience.
